Whistling Kettles

We call it the breaking point - the apex of our threshold to which we think we cannot exceed. But who is to say what our breaking point is? How do you know if you have reached it? And is it rather impossible to go beyond it? Just when we think we are about to break, the real truth is that we have instead, found our match.Either you reach the boiling point, or you break the glass.Science explains boiling point as the specific temperature of a liquid at which the atmospheric pressure is equivalent to the vapor pressure - then causing it to evaporate. When we boil, it is not because the pressure is not beyond us, but equal us. Our perception of what is greater than us, is instead, our parallel. And your fine crystal...Contrary to common notion, crystal glass hums when the pitch produced is and reverberating at the same frequency as the matter of the glass is made of. It is not when the pitch is too high that the glass breaks. Instead, crystal glass breaks when the pitch produced, say by human voice, is amplified and is resonating at the right frequency.Whether smooth water or the fine glass, both reach limits. And yes, humans too, exist within limits - but if such limit is well-perceived, that is the question. So when you have thought you have reached your breaking point...The choice exists between shattering like crystal, or whistling like a kettle.
